Natural Resource Projects & Practices Water Quality Implementation
The project is needed to address high levels of human waste at an area without motorized access. The district addressed this issue at the lower trailhead through grants and funded a vault toilet bridging five entities (Idaho Department of Lands, U.S. Forest Service, Valley County Parks and Rec, and an Irrigation District) to bring about a solution. Now, the district is ready to address much needed solution at Boulder Lake at the end of the trail. There is no motorized access, so a composting toilet or equivalent solution is needed.

Individual project performance measures and expenditures should not be relied upon for complete and total accuracy and should be confirmed with a project's lead implementer. Project locations subject to confidentiality provisions under state and federal law specify the location of a local conservation district or USDA service center office.
